| which most of you didn't, I'd say. I wouldn't have if it was not for a shot headgasket and my decision to rebuild the bottom also. There was VISIBLE uneven wear on my main crank bearings - all of them, but the ones closest to the pulley were THE WORST. The engine had like 110K on it. Not sure how much the underdrive pulley accelearated the wear on the bearings, but I'd say it had something to do with it. Nothing's free in this world and there is no free horsepower, it has to be paid for by quicker engine wear.
